Transmission line and Wave Guides

III yr students went for an industrial visit to DIAMOND engineering,Mambakkam Chennai, EMERALD Engineering Pudhupakkam Chennai ON 25.01.19.

Diamond Group is one of India’s leading and fast growing steel fabrication units.
Students gained knowledge in computers and advanced fabrication technology. Also students worked the process of Automating structural steel fabrication on 22.01.2019

Defective Bottle Detection Using Machine Vision System and PLC

This is the novel method of detecting faulty bottles using Omron FQ2 vision camera, PLC and HMI. With the aid if high resolution OMRON FQ2 vision camera the quality of the bottles can be determined. Once the PLC labels the bottles as faulty, then the bottles are eliminated from the conveyer belt. The whole process can be controlled by HMI. Machine vision is the application of the computer vision and related technologies to industrial automation. This camera logic is used to implement a system to check the bottle assembly and PLC is used for elimination.

This product was developed by our final year students during the academic year 2017-18.
