Training & Placement

The Department of Human Resource Development is headed by Dr. T. D. Sairam M.E.,Ph.D This department interacts with reputed organizations to support the final year students by arranging the campus interview in both UG & PG. It makes efforts to send most of the students for internships to enhance their technical ability and gain exposure to the practical world.

Industrial visits to reputed companies are arranged to know more details about industrial activities. It also enhances the soft-skill capability of the students through regular training programs. The department counsels the final year students for their higher studies and for getting projects from industries. We ensure that our students are proficient with the expectation of the industry.. We have created the environment which gives the students an opportunity to balance their academic commitments and co-curricular activities in order to exceed in both.

We have the State-of-the-art Placement Cell infrastructure which comprises of Auditorium, GD Panel rooms, Closed Interview Panels and Conference Hall. The entire facility is designed keeping in mind to ensure that both students and the recruiters have a comfortable recruitment experience.

Training Module

Our Skill Enhancement & Pre-placement training helps the students to make them ‘Plug & Play’ in industry areas of Technical knowledge. Training is given from 1st year onwards and the trainers are brought from various sectors to make the students active. The following training programs are offered to improve the employability skills.

Ist Year

  • Basic English (speak, read & write)
  • Verbal & Non Verbal
  • Spoken English course for mediocre & Tamil medium students

IInd Year

  • Intermediate English (Speak, Read & Write).
  • British English Course
  • Aptitude problem solving skills- Basic
  • Analytical & Reasoning

Pre-Final Year

  • Career Awareness sessions
  • Soft Skills Training (Creativity, Motivation, Leadership, Group dynamics and Body Language).
  • Aptitude Training (Analytical, Logical & Verbal reasoning skills)
  • Mock Interview (Tech & HR) by senior faculty from the respective department

Final Year

  • Training on Corporate question papers & Corporate Etiquette.
  • Interview Skills and Mock Interview
  • Monthly tests on company questions
  • Weekly Group discussions & Mock Interviews
  • Technical Training on their core and in other areas like (Programming fundamentals – C & C++, JAVA, Hardware, Networking and etc) by our internal faculty.

Final Year

    • Higher Education

      The management of DMICE lays emphasis on the career counseling for the Final year students by training and preparing the students for placement or for pursuing higher studies in abroad or in India.
      Centre for higher education is formed exclusively for motivating, counseling and guiding the students to pursue higher studies.
      The centre aims at providing systematic and methodical guidance on the various competitive examinations after B.E/B.Tech degrees which facilitates them to pursue Masters’ degree like M.E/M. Tech from India, M.S from abroad, M.B.A from India and abroad and Ph.D.

      • Creating awareness among students of various avenues for higher studies.
      • Collecting the data of the graduating students who aspire to study abroad and to maintain a comprehensive database
      • Collecting data of the Alumni who have done higher studies
      • Networking among Universities, Colleges, Institutions abroad committed to impart Higher Education and Collaborative Study courses.
      • Interfacing with the appropriate authorities at the collaborating Universities and Institutions
      • Promoting new relationships between overseas Universities and Institutions and to help define the scope of such relationships through appropriate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).
      • Organizing Seminars on “Higher Education at various Universities abroad” periodically.
      • Organizing one-to-one counseling sessions on preparations, procedures for applying higher education by the eminent University / institution representatives.

      Placement Support

      Our core responsible is to interact with reputed organizations for arranging campus interviews for the placement of final year students in both UG & PG. It makes efforts to send most of the students internships to enhance their technical ability and gain exposure to the practical world.
