Course Highlights
The department of management studies started in the year 2006 – 2007, is well equipped with adequate infrastructure and competent faculty. Our senior faculty members have international work exposure and vast experience in the field of training and development. Our budding managers are continually exposed to industry scenario through guest lectures, industrial visits, industry institute interactions, workshops etc.

Case Analysis, Presentation and Group Discussions are conducted periodically to enhance the communication skills among the students apart from influencing the free exchange of ideas and opinion. Situational Analysis, Management Games & Role Plays are conducted to empower the decision making skills of the students.

In terms of career opportunities, MBA provides a range of career opportunities in various different fields. It can help in getting higher level positions with a good salary package. Many business positions like investment banking, human resources, marketing, finance and management consulting require an MBA for prospective advancement.
DMI recognizes that placement is an important outcome of the program and is a validation of the two years’ effort by the institution and students. Management studies are vibrant and proactive with a mission to target reputed companies for placement of our MBA students. The preparation for this is an integral part of the program and includes special modules on general awareness of industry and environment and a variety of training on communications, soft skills, group-discussion, aptitude and facing interviews.
Students were placed in a variety of roles in IT, Banks & Financial Services and FMCG. The average CTC was Rs. 3.5 lacs per year. That many of these companies are regular recruiters from DMI is a testimony to the quality of the students graduating from DMI
